RHAA promotes key areas of focus across the state through the work of legislative, workforce, and educational committees.
This committee works to promote positive rural health policy and legislation for the State of Arkansas. The committee reviews and promotes policies and legislation that will work to solve many of the state’s rural health issues, and work with lawmakers to understand the rural importance of legislation.

This committee examines workforce issues important to rural health and determines methods of resolving those issues. The committee will highlight best practices and encourage all members to adopt practices that will be in the best interests of their rural communities.

This committee works to connect students to professional opportunities in rural Arkansas. In addition to the rural physician field trips each year, the committee will consult with student groups and professional programs and determine how to best empower and encourage students in their rural health journey.
