RHAA Student Fieldtrip

The next RHAA medical student fieldtrip will take place on August 15-16, 2025. This fieldtrip, sponsored by UAMS, ARCOM and NYIT, facilitates interaction and discovery of select rural communities throughout the state with interested medical students who may wish to live and practice in the communities. The August fieldtrip will take place in Jonesboro, Walnut Ridge, Pocahontas, and Wynne.

2026 RHAA Policy Summit

The 2026 Rural Health Association of Arkansas Policy Summit brings together rural health professionals and legislators from throughout the state to engage and dialogue on key issues affecting us all. The 2026 Policy Summit date and location has not yet been announced. Please check back for more information.‍

2026 RHAA Student Summit

The 2026 Rural Health Association of Arkansas Student Summit will take place on April 10-11, 2026 at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute in Morrilton. This Summit, sponsored by UAMS, ARCOM, and NYIT, is a time for medical students from throughout Arkansas to learn more about rural healthcare and to gain insight into a career of practicing in rural communities.
